The Topophiliac Project is a writing, art, and bookmaking outfit began by Laura Citino in 2020. Its work explores regional identity, surrealism, dystopian climate futures, and the mundane apocalypse in the Great Lakes and American Midwest.

Laura Citino (she/they) is a writer, teacher, and editor from southeastern Michigan. She received her MFA in fiction from Eastern Washington University in 2013 and has published in numerous journals in print and online. She teaches writing and literature in a program for academically talented youth and publishes primarily under the Topophiliac Project. She currently lives in Kalamazoo, MI.
